XIDULU LODGE
XiDulu is a private camp on the Greater Makalali Game Reserve which we are using for our Big Five Safari and our Big Five Ride & Dine Safari.
This private camp is situated on a big dam with a resident pod of hippos, lots of crocodiles, and many animals frequently come for a drink.
This camp has 5 rooms, the main area has an infinity pool and a viewing platform. There are three types of rooms which you can view below.
MANGWA (means Zebra): Mangwa is the biggest room at XiDulu, with a super kind size bed, a dressing room, bathroom, inside and outside shower, bath overlooking the dam, a fireplace, air-condition and a private sala.
NHONGO (Kudu), NYALA (Nyala) and HONGONYI (Wildebeest): These three rooms are all the same with a kind size bed (one room can be turned into a twin rom), inside and outside shower, bath, viewing deck, air-condition and dressing area.
MHALA (Impala): This room is close to the main area with an amazing view over the dam. It has got a queen size bed and all the facilities like the three rooms Nhongo, Nyala and Hongonyi, apart from the bath. This would be used as a single room option for no supplement.
The main area of the lodge includes a bar/dining area, a full open planned kitchen, a main dining room, and a TV/Lounge room with three bathrooms and two fireplaces. Wifi is available at the Lodge. All inside areas are fully air-conditioned.
The main area leads onto the viewing platform which includes 3 outside seating areas, built-in braai (barbeque) facilities, an infinity pool, and a front and back boma.
